Starters, Squadrons, and New Ship Releases

Today, we bring you some important and more detailed news, so prepare yourself for a slightly longer but truly fascinating read. 📚
Full steam ahead! 🚢🙂

Firstly, we have already completed 6 out of 7 models for Gods of War: Togo, due for release in March. The last one is in the design phase, so we are sticking to our March release schedule. We have already presented these models in our group, but let’s quickly remind you of the ships to come:

🇾🇪 GermanyFürst Bismarck armoured cruiser and the small Nautilus-type mine cruiser.
🇬🇧 Great BritainAdventure-class scout cruiser.
🇪🇸 SpainMarqués del Duero gunboat (Fernando el Católico type) and Temerario torpedo gunboat.
🇺🇸 USAPennsylvania-class armoured cruiser.
🇯🇵 JapanKasagi-class cruiser.

In June 2025, another wave of ships will arrive:
The Russians will get an entire squadron of armoured cruisers from Vladivostok (Rossija, Gromoboj, Rurik – in one set) and many more 🙂

We’d like to introduce something new here. When outlining our plans for 2025, we mentioned that we would implement some changes to the starters. These will include four key points:

  1. Introduction of single-player starters for all fleets.
  2. The two-player starter will remain as Battle for the Yellow Sea (Japan vs Russia).
  3. Squadron boxes will be free of order dials. Usually, you end up with plenty of them anyway. A squadron is meant to be the fastest and most cost-effective way to expand your forces. The presence of dials makes squadrons quite expensive, so we are preparing a change in this regard.
  4. The compositions of many starters will be adjusted to include new ships we’ve made since the beginning of the game’s existence, and to standardise them more (so that the entire fleet included is comparable to fleets from other starters).

To accommodate these changes, including the new ships for each nation, it will take a little time, so the new starters and squadrons will appear in June. Until then, they will continue to function in their current configurations.

What will be in these starters and squadrons?

As you can see, there will be a lot of new units, including battleships. The Germans will get the most new ships, as they currently have the fewest. The British, who still lack many, and the Russians, who won’t have new releases in March, will get a lot of them in June. Besides three armoured cruisers, they’ll also get the Retvizan battleship.

It’s also worth noting that in September, we will unveil a new fleet – the Marine Nationale, the fleet of France 🇫🇷, during the Pola Chwały convention.

We hope that the new starter and squadron compositions will appeal to you. Feel free to comment and ask questions 🙂
More details about these ships will be revealed closer to their release dates.

We wish you a great week and full steam ahead! 🚢⚓
