Plans for 2025

🇬🇧🇺🇸
We are entering the final month of 2024. 🌟 A year filled with wonderful events for us. We successfully launched and completed another Kickstarter campaign for Gods of War: Togo. 🚢 This was our second campaign, where we leveraged the experiences gained from the first one. Thanks to this campaign, we funded not only the English version of the game, numerous new ships for existing fleets, but also an entirely new navy – the Royal Navy. 🇬🇧 The campaign’s significant success also enabled us to swiftly release another new fleet – the Kaiserliche Marine 🇾🇪, which premiered in September during the Pola Chwały convention in Niepołomice. 🎉 The Polish Championship in Gods of War: Togo 🏆 was also a major success, with 20 participants who not only had a great time but also received unique rewards. 🎁

We also had the opportunity to attend various conventions, most notably in London at Salute 🇬🇧, but also in Warsaw at Kontrast 🇵🇱 and many other venues where we showcased our games. Tournaments in GoW: Togo were practically held every month. 🗓️

We don’t want to dwell too much on summarising the year at the turn of November and December. Instead, we aim to outline our plans for the near future. Why at the end of November, you ask? 🤔 Because we’re preparing a surprise for December 🎄, and so – coincidentally – it’s also a good time to share what we plan to release in 2025. This will help players plan what to look forward to (and when).

It’s worth noting that this plan may see some adjustments, including the addition of items/models not mentioned here. All thanks to your amazing support and interest! 😊

So, with great pleasure, we present the plans for the Gods of War series for the upcoming year.

Gods of War: Togo

🎄 December 2024 – special holiday set. We can’t reveal what it is yet, but 3D design is underway. 🛠️ We believe it will be a significant and delightful surprise. 🎁 No hints or guesses will be confirmed – you’ll see soon enough! ⏳

🚢 March 2025 – a new wave of ships:

  • 🇩🇪 Germany – armoured cruiser Fürst Bismarck and small minelayer cruiser of the Nautilus class.
  • 🇬🇧 Great Britain – scout cruiser of the Adventure class.
  • 🇪🇸 Spain – gunboat Marqués del Duero (Fernando el Católico class) and torpedo gunboat of the Temerario class.
  • 🇺🇸 USA – armoured cruiser of the Pennsylvania class.
  • 🇯🇵 Japan – cruiser of the Kasagi class.

📦 Major changes: all fleets will receive single-player starters alongside the existing JAP-RUS dual-player starter. ✨ Squadron sets will no longer include command dials, making them more cost-effective. 💡 Small adjustments to the original four fleet starters will optimise their compositions.

June 2025 – another wave of ships:

  • Russia will receive an entire armoured cruiser squadron from Vladivostok (Rossija, Gromoboi, Rurik – one set).
  • Additional models for selected fleets – details to come! 🔍

📖 New scenarios for the Scenario Book: 9 balanced scenarios, plus historical scenarios for the Spanish-American War. Unbalanced scenarios for friendly games will also be released. 🤝

September 2025 – launch of a new fleet: Marine Nationale, the French Navy 🇫🇷, during the Fields of Glory convention. 🏰 Campaign rules will also be published.

December 2025 – another wave of ships (the largest batch for the French to quickly expand their fleet).

Gods of War: Lee

📜 Due to time constraints, we are not specifying exact dates (only 2025). Plans include:

  • Errata v2.2: adjusting rules and stats to enhance gameplay dynamics and simplicity. ⚙️
  • Gods of War: Grant: ongoing tests of armies, generals, and battle cards. 📋
  • Winter Corps for the Union and Confederacy: winter-clad models and new artillery sets, including heavy artillery. 🛡️

💬 We hope these plans meet your expectations and bring you joy commanding armies in Lee and fleets in Togo. Have a great week!

Full steam ahead! 🚀
